The Lost Easter Eggs You Probably Missed In Batman: Arkham City

While “Batman: Arkham City” features the Joker extensively, there’s one conversation in particular where the villain directly references “Lost,” though it’s something only viewers of the show’s finale are likely to understand. In a conversation with Batman via a TV screen, the Joker says, “Well here’s the thing, answers don’t give you everlasting satisfaction. Sometimes you need to brace yourself for disappointment. No, think about it. Imagine your favorite TV show. You’ve been through it all, the ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences, and then BANG, they tell you what it’s all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church?”

Though the Joker offers the most apparent “Lost” reference, he’s not the only character that’s clued in on the show’s existence. Players patrolling Gotham can also stumble upon random bits of dialogue from goons trying to make sense of how the show ended. In one such instance, an NPC asks, “Do they ever explain what the island was?”
